SA-DVR-4
Embedded DVRs do not need a computer to operate, which is great, because some homeowners may want a home surveillance system, but they are not yet "into" computers and are sometimes even intimidated by modern technology.
In fact, there is no software at all on the hard drive with an embedded DVR. All functions are contained (embedded) on software. Videos can be viewed in real time. These units are extremely easy to setup. The Embedded series Digital Video Recorders (DVR) operate just like any VCR, however it is much, much easier to use than any VCR ever was, and they have many additional and unique features.
These DVRs will convert analog video (NTSC or PAL) into
digital images, and then record them onto a hard disk drive. Using a
disk drive will conveniently allow users to access recorded video
almost instantaneously without having to waste lots of time rewinding or
fast forwarding or adjusting any tracking.
You can actually freeze frames, and get a better look at someone or
something, and you are able to forward or rewind without any type of
image streaking or tearing. Digital video can always be indexed by
time/date or events, and users can instantly view the video after
selecting the time/date or event. The rear panel provides convenient
connection for video and audio input/output. These are so simple to use,
that an eight year old can figure it out!
